Agriculture & Rural Development (Nabard), which floats these bonds, is expected to get a ministry clearance soon for mobilising up to Rs 5,000 crore through such a bond float.
Nabard executive director SK Mitra said: “We expect to get the finance ministry clearance to issue these bonds. If we get it soon, we may make this available for subscription in March 2010 itself.”
Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee is tipped to make an announcement in this regard when he presents Budget 2010-11 on February 26. This investment option has been popular both with institutional and retail investors as it offers higher returns.

Instruments could make a comeback this March. The National Bank for
Agriculture & Rural Development (Nabard), which floats these bonds, is expected to get a ministry clearance soon for mobilising up to Rs 5,000 crore through such a bond float.
Nabard executive director SK Mitra said: “We expect to get the finance ministry clearance to issue these bonds. If we get it soon, we may make this available for subscription in March 2010 itself.”
Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee is tipped to make an announcement in this regard when he presents Budget 2010-11 on February 26. This investment option has been popular both with institutional and retail investors as it offers higher returns.

Heavy Water Board (HWB), a component unit under Department of Atomic Energy, is majorly responsible for production of Heavy Water (D2O) which is used as a 'moderator' and 'Coolant' in the nuclear power as well as research reactors. HWB is successfully controlling six Heavy Water Plants in the nation. HWB has mastered the complex production technology using two chemical exchange processes viz. (H2S-H2O) bithermal process and NH3-H2 monothermal process.
